Sri Vaishnava Virtual Kids Summer Camp
Vanamamalai Temple and Mutt:
Varamangai Sametha Deivanayaga Perumal (VanamAmalai) Temple is one of the 108 Divya Desams. It is one of the eight swayam vyaktha (self manifested) keshtrams, maintained by the Vanamamalai Mutt. This is the only Sri Vaishnava Temple where Perumal has HIS daily tirumanajam (abulations) with herbal oil. This oil is collected in a huge well and distributed as prasad to devotees. At this Divya Desam we also have VanamAmalai Mutt, famous in the Northern part of our country as Shri Thothadri Mutt. It has 62 branches all over India and Nepal and is about 650 years old. The Mutt’s first Jeeyar Swami or Pontiff – Shri Ponnadikkal Jeeyar, is the direct disciple of Sri ManavAla MAmunigal, a main proponent of Sri Ramanuja’s darshanam.
Camp Details:
VanamAmalai Mutt USA is organizing the virtual summer camp “Mazhalai VarivandugaL Kuzhaam” for kids aged 7 to 15 years in North America (USA & Canada). This is to teach the younger generation about our Sri Vaishnava Sampradayam, Azhwars and Acharyas through fun activities. There will be music, story time, arts & crafts, Kahoot (quiz time) for the kids to enjoy the class while learning.

- Suggested donation: (USD/CAD) $50/child/camp
Funds collected during this initiative will be fully utilized towards the Kainkaryam (service) efforts that are underway at the VanamAmalai temple – to offer a Golden Chariot/Rath (Thanga Ther) to Perumal and thAyaAr (the divine couple) and to support the VidyApeetam (Vedic Patashala) at Srirangam.
