Birth of the Trust:
Our Sri Vanamamalai Mutt is one of the oldest mutts in Srivaishnava Sampradayam with rich culture and heritage. Being influenced deeply by the Religious and Spiritual activities of the Sri Vanamamalai mutt in India, a group of volunteers living in the United States came in together to form an organization that will add similar value to the aspiring population in the United States as well as furthering the causes in other places (primarily India).
Sri Ramanuja Public Educational and Charitable Inc (Sri Ramanuja PEAC) was formed in 2017 by a core group of Sri VAnamAmalai Shishyas in the USA and is open to all Sishyas to participate and contribute. The Religious and Spiritual activities of the Sri Vanamamalai mutt in India have had a great influence in defining the purpose of “Sri Ramanuja Public Educational and Charitable Inc.”

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages.The following is the purpose for which this Sri Ramanuja PEAC organization is being formed and the main objectives are shown below.
Objectives:
- Propagation of the Hindu religion, especially our Sri Vaishnava sampradayam as propagated by our Acharyas and its associated principles
- Construct schools and hostels to provide accommodation to the students, faculty and visiting scholars. The classes will be run by highly learned scholars from the Hindu Vedic school of thought.
- Conduct classes for interested students.
- Organize discourses and study group events by inviting and hosting learned scholars from around the world and primarily from India.
- Research of Vedic and other related scriptures related to the Hindu religion.
- From time to time these schools will also be involved in Medical and Humanitarian Relief (during times of calamities),
- The organization will be involved in publishing literature related to the Hindu religion on blogs /textbooks/brochures.
- Also conduct excursions/field trips to the religious places.
- Support activities of like minded organizations around the world.
- Organize events and programs for fundraising.
